served 1964 -1966 as JREM2 - REM1
Seved in ICS dept and 965 radar dept
Brother was able seaman Bryan Elms serving at the same time in Seamans department as Radar plotter.
Saw service through to Hong Kong including Beira patrol many times including extended patrol (72 days) due Ark Royal breakdown in S'pore :(:(:( !!!

Hi
i joined the Eagle in Guz in 1965 straight from Ganges as a Jme in 4k1 mess.I worked in X unit and the shipwrights party.
I stayed on for the 2nd commission in 5g2 mess and again in X unit.
I left Eagle in 1968 and flew home from Freemantle to do the Submarine course.

Hi Shipmates. It was good to see a few faces at the reunion. We had a great time. A big thanks to BJ. and all those who had a hand in the organisation.It will be even better next year at Torquay because I know that once the word gets around there will be a lot more Big E crew to come and join us.making it a memorable evening.
